The big blue monster Charles offers high power and performance no matter what the situation and delivers outstanding power in both the wet and the dry. Having recently tested a range of wet and dry vacuums, Charles offers the most extended cleaning reach of the lot. He comes with a host of different accessories and features which means he can cope with just about any job going. The largest of the Henry vacuums is the George, which is a 4-in-1… although the Charles comes close. The super-large bags take a long while to clog before blocking the flow, and feature a little flap that seals the opening as you remove them from the machine.

The float valve cuts the machine power when the bin is full of liquid, and emptying is an old-school lift and tip operation, without any drain plug in the body. It is slightly more expensive than the original, but if you want an upgrade on your Henry then it may well be the ideal vacuum for you. Rumour has it that your Henry will work without the bag in it, but that you might not get the suction you could expect otherwise.The largest of the CombiVac range, the CDV900 provides wet and dry pick-up effortlessly and will be found at home in the dirtiest of places. No dual motors results in marginally less noise output – yet a different type of suction all together.

Liquid pick-up is great, its high suction power means major dry debris cleaning is a breeze, and the tool lineup is comprehensive. Charles is designed to shine in the wet – and this is indeed where it has the edge over the competition.It’s equally robust as the Herny, equipped with a long hose, huge 10m power cable for plenty of reach, a powerful 1060W motor, and a good range of cleaning accessories for different flooring and hard-to-reach areas. Henry Pet has all the great features of Henry Hoover, with the added bonus of additional tools which are purrfect if you have pets. For this we suggest the Henry Micro, which will do a great job while fitting snugly into small spaces. The heavy-duty Structofoam construction in both head and body is rugged yet light in weight with our unique high-ef.

The frugal member of the family, James Hoover is a slightly smaller vacuum cleaner and comes with a couple of other alterations.

Two cleaning heads are also thrown in: the MultiFlo wet pick-up nozzle for wet spills and the Combination floor tool for dry vacuuming.
