There are six height-adjustable options on the legs to ensure a comfortable level for not only the angler but the correct level for the fish. Heavier fish will make the cradle material meet the ground and so boosting the frame will help protect the fish more. There are also rotating mud feet on the legs of the frame to keep the cradle level on uneven bankside terrain. Firstly it is important to note that the good old padded unhooking mat is perfectly adequate for most carp angling situations, but there are times when a cradle will not only protect the fish better but also help you out as the angler. If you regularly fish on your own, at a lovely quiet lake away from the crowds, then you should really be using a cradle. Pros: Impressed with the increased adjustable leg height which means I can choose between keeping the carp low to the ground, or raised up so i can sit with my legs underneath. Improved drainage/water retention is a big plus. Pros: A no fuss cradle that self inflates, is light and portable and promotes fish safety. What else is there to say?Ideal for short sessions, this cradle is aimed at those on a budget, but this doesn’t mean that it is poor quality!
