Initially, we were torn between A) letting our baby explore different foods and make a mess in doing so, or B) trying to keep mealtimes a little less messy because we didn’t want to clean the highchair. Sometimes it would take two people, whereas it’s very easy to get Lucy in and out of the Inglesina chair. I often just leave it in my trunk since it takes up so little space and I know I have a chair to place the baby in just in case we unexpectedly need it. Your baby gets used to the habits and customs of your home, feels a part of the family, and gets reassured by mom and dad. We used the Inglesina chair in our hotel room for breakfast and even fastened it to a picnic table out in the woods!

We purchased a traditional highchair at first, but found we used the Inglesina Fast Table Chair far more often, and have used the Fast exclusively since. Our little testers seemed very comfortable in this portable high chair, and it allowed them to focus on eating free of discomfort or distraction.

I didn’t want him to try to climb out, unbuckle his seat, or the seat somehow come undone from the table. In addition to capturing those adorable pictures of avocado and banana mashes all over their face, it’s time to choose a chair for them to join family meals at the table. I mean, we have a nine-month-old using it… so should come as no surprise that by the end of the day, it’s covered in grime.

We always use disposable placemats with the Inglesina high chair and put them down on the table prior to securing it.
